Along with the sunset stuff based on location (if and when you get to that), it would be cool to have a "clock" in temporal hours. i.e. sunset is 6:00pm, sunrise is 6:00am, and the 12 hours between them (on both sides) are equal divisions. I've been using one I made out of Perl and tcl for a while and it's pretty neat. Overly geeky, but cool.
mark, thank you for your ideas. I'll think about it. Now I don't understand, why it is important or interesting for people. could you write few words about it or publish link to relevant sites. Igor.
gerardo thank you for interest and your note. The feature works under Firefox 1.0.7, but doesn't work under 1.5RC. I try to fix the problem. Unfortunately, it can take time. Igor.
Thanks for your interest, Igor. I'm not completely sure how interested "normal" people would be in such a thing... but then again, it's handy for knowing when shabbat starts (candle-lighting time is always around 5:42), when midday is, for the zman of shacharit, stuff like that.
The Jewish calendar is based around these "temporal" hours. Things that are to be done in the morning or evening, etc, have their times defined in terms of these hours, 1/12 of the time between sunset and sunrise and vice-versa (so daytime and nighttime ones are different lengths, which change through the year).
I've been keeping one on my screen for some time now; it's interesting in its way. Could be fun.
I'm using firefox 1.5 on a Mac and when I selection options, the location comes up blank with only 2 options Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. I would like to enter my location.

Can you make the transliterated hebrew numbers in the English option optional? I'd personally rather they weren't there... ;)
daniel,
I'll try to implement this request this week.
Thanks! :)

First off, thanks for the calendar :)
I notice in the calendar that if I select "All" for holidays, it defaults
to "Jewish" on next open.
Can the chosen setting be made to stay?
i´m using mozilla firefox 1.5RC

You have misspelled "Jerusalem".
I also suggest a future option to display Daf Yomi.
Thank you.
